Garage Floor Coating
Garage floor coating puts a thick, flake-filled layer over the slab that stands up to brine, hot tires and dropped tools.
View Garage Floor CoatingConcrete floor repair rebuilds cracked, scaled or chipped concrete and strips failing paint so a new coating has a sound base, usually on the same visit.
Our concrete floor repair work covers garages, basements, shops and plants across Guelph and Wellington County. Each floor gets the repairs it needs before coating, and each repair appears on the estimate.
Shrinkage from the day the slab was poured causes the bulk of household cracks. Each one is chased open with a saw, packed with rigid epoxy and ground level. Lines that still open and close in winter are filled with a flexible product instead.
Salt scaling is common in Guelph garages. Slush thaws and refreezes on the slab, and the surface crumbles where the car sits. Concrete floor repair rebuilds those areas with epoxy mortar, leaving the floor level before the coating goes on.
An old coating that is lifting has to come off completely. Store kits and old paint lose their grip, and anything laid over them will peel too. We grind down to sound concrete and then repair whatever we find beneath.
The same service covers broken joints, chipped door edges and spalled patches in plants. For a full new floor, see the garage floor coating or shop floor coating pages.
Concrete floor repair is priced job by job. Crack filling is usually a small part of a coating estimate, while stripping an old coating or rebuilding a damaged slab adds more. Each repair is listed with its own price.
Call (226) 407-7135 with photos of the damage if you have them, and a written price follows our visit. The Guelph Epoxy Floors home page shows all of our floors.
Lots of projects pair two of these, like a garage up top and the basement under the house.
